Norway

Iceland

Turkey

At the limit between the East and the West, Turkey is a country that deserves a detour. Pamukkale in southwestern Turkey is described as a cotton castle. Hot springs laden with calcite have built a tufière (site formed by a rock called calcareous tuff) with the unreal look of petrified waterfalls and stepped basins.
