Here he is, perhaps the most anticipated superhero film of the year: Matt Reeves, the director of Cloverfield (2008) and the last two opuses of The Planet of the Apes, revives the solo films dedicated to the Dark Knight, with a film shrouded in darkness and aesthetically clear. Robert Pattinson, who has continued to prove himself in independent cinema in recent years (for example in Good Time by the Safdie brothers), slips into the costume of Batman, for a performance perhaps less muscular than its predecessors but crossed by a deaf violence ready to explode.
