Measures regarding lung infection – Covid-19

> Albania

Albania no longer imposes health restrictions on entry into its territory. It is therefore not necessary to present proof of vaccination or a negative test.

> United States

Since November 8, 2021, travelers aged 18 and over to the United States by air must present proof of identity. complete vaccination against Covid-19 to be allowed to board, unless they are US nationals, legal permanent residents or immigrants and some other very limited exceptions. Transits through the United States are also affected by this vaccination obligation.

> Finland

To date, there are no longer any restrictions for entering Finland from France, another European Union state, the Schengen area or countries classified as “green” (list available on the Finnish Border Guard, point 2 on the following page: https://raja.fi/en/guidelines-for-border-traffic-during-pandemic#2greenlist).

  • It should be noted, however, that upon arrival in Finland, the authorities may check, in addition to identity documents, any type of document relating to COVID-19 such as test, vaccination or recovery certificates.

> Georgia

Any traveler traveling by air, land or sea transport attesting to full vaccination is allowed to enter Georgia regardless of their origin and nationality.

  • Unvaccinated travellers, including nationals and permanent residents of EU countries and a number of other countries (list available on the website of the Georgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, can enter Georgia provided they present a negative PCR test performed within 72 hours prior to arrival, The result of the negative PCR test must be written in English, Georgian or Russian. Any passenger under the age of 10 is exempt from the obligation to present a negative PCR test.

> Greece

Since May 1, 2022, Greece has suspended its restrictions on entry into its territory from abroad regardless of the country of origin. No health document (vaccination or cure certificate), no screening test is required for boarding or border crossing (measures valid until August 31, 2022).

> Indonesia

Only travelers with certain visas are allowed to enter Indonesian territory. In addition, all foreigners traveling to Indonesia must present a vaccination certificate (full vaccination) in accordance with the vaccination protocol in force in their country of residence and have downloaded the Covid-19 monitoring and tracing application “PeduliLindungi” on their cell phone.

> Kuwait

Since May 1, 2022, access to Kuwaiti territory has been possible without any health restrictions.

> Papua New Guinea

Only fully vaccinated people are allowed to enter Papua New Guinea. They must have a complete vaccination schedule (defined within the framework of the official measures, see the indicative table of vaccination schedules). This obligation only applies to persons over 18 years of age.

> Netherlands

> Taiwan

In response to the health crisis, the Taiwanese authorities have reinstated the visa requirement when entering their territory. At this stage, only Taiwanese nationals, their spouses and minor children as well as holders of a residence permit (ARC, APRC, diplomatic card) or a visa issued for professional or humanitarian reasons can therefore enter the island. duly justified (excluding for example tourism). Colombia – Crime – announcement of a blockade in the departments of Córdoba, Antioquia and Sucre by an armed group (06/05/2022)

The Gulf Clan cartel has announced that it wants to put in place a blockade for a period of 5 days since May 4, 2022 in the departments of Córdoba, Antioquia and Sucre.

The roads in these three departments are likely to be closed by the armed group during this period. The road leading from Medellin to the Atlantic coast is closed, as are the road accesses to Cartagena.

It is strongly advised against going to these areas for the duration of the blockade or trying to break through the roadblocks.

Nepal – Municipal elections (10/05/2022)

Municipal elections will be held on Friday, May 13, 2022 across the country. In this context, it is advisable to stay away from any gathering, a fortiori with a political connotation, and to keep informed of the evolution of the situation.

In addition, traffic is likely to be disrupted on May 13. Papua New Guinea – Election period – Risk of violence (12/05/2022)

Philippines – Presidential election of May 9, 2022 (06/05/2022)

The presidential election took place on May 9, 2022, it is recommended to adopt a certain vigilance, to stay away from public gatherings and to keep informed of the evolution of the situation.

In the Philippines, foreigners are prohibited from participating in political activities. Travel is also not recommended on most of the island of Mindanao, as well as in the southern half of the island of Palawan.

Sri Lanka – High tensions and ongoing demonstrations (11/05/2022)

Sometimes imposing demonstrations take place in Colombo and in several other cities of the country. Often spontaneous, they can give rise to acts of violence between supporters and opponents of the government.

A nationwide curfew was introduced on May 9. It should be strictly observed and the instructions of the local authorities should be followed. Travel to and from Colombo International Airport is permitted, subject to presentation of an airline ticket and passport.

Sri Lanka is currently experiencing economic difficulties which are generating high inflation and significant shortages of imported products: gas, fuel and petrol, as well as certain food and pharmaceutical products, are no longer supplied on a regular basis. Power cuts, which can go up to more than 12 hours a day, are imposed.

In this context of high tensions, it is recommended to postpone any non-essential travel plans to Sri Lanka.

Turkey – Bad weather in the provinces of Kastamonu, Sinop and Samsun (06/05/2022)

Heavy rains and strong winds were expected in the Black Sea coastal regions on May 6-7, particularly in Kastamonu, Sinop and Samsun provinces. These bad weather conditions can cause flooding and landslides.

In this context, it is recommended to keep informed of the evolution of the situation and to follow any instructions from the local authorities.
