What series to watch or see again tonight on Netflix?

A high comedy: Space Force

When the US government announces the creation of a new branch of the US military focused on space, General Naird becomes responsible for the defense of satellites and various missions related to space exploration.

The opinion of CNET France

Created by Steve Carell and Greg Daniels, sidekicks since their collaboration on The Office, SpaceForce is a crazy comedy inspired and fun by the creation of the US Space Force by Donald Trump in 2018.

In this series, General Naird (Carell) teams up with a gang of scientists to protect space. The concept is as far-fetched as reality and the series amuses thanks to endearing characters put in grotesque situations.

Yes SpaceForce is not what Carell and Daniels have done best in terms of comedy, the series nevertheless offers an entertaining and exotic story. John Malkovich in great shape and Steve Carell form a solid duo whose adventures are fun to watch.

The second season of the series has just landed on Netflix and, although it is too short, it offers seven well-constructed episodes that increasingly highlight the characters and continue to make its viewers laugh. Long live the sequel.

A discovery show: Getting Curious with Jonathan Van Ness

In this program adapted from his eponymous podcast, Jonathan Van Ness dissects the subjects that tickle his curiosity – from insects to sweets and hair art – with the help of experts and distinguished guests.

The opinion of CNET France

The fans of Queer-Eye will be delighted to find Jonathan Van Ness in another program on Netflix. With Getting Curiousthe presenter takes us on an exploration of various subjects that intrigue him and takes the opportunity to educate us on them.

The show tackles everything from bug cooking to gender nonconformity, and invites various experts to answer questions from Jonathan Van Ness. With only six short episodes in its first season, Getting Curious devours quickly and is a program that entertains as much as it educates.

The good humor and positivity of Jonathan Van Ness are just as contagious in this show as in Queer-Eyethus allowing spectators to not only learn by watching the show but also to come out with a smile on their face.

A masterful series: The Crown

Inspired by real events, this series recounts the reign of Queen Elizabeth II as well as the political and private episodes that marked her royal journey.

The opinion of CNET France

The Crown is created by Peter Morgan, to whom we also owe the film The Queen, and is a series of exceptional quality. From its meticulous writing and production to the impeccable acting of its actors and stunning costumes, The Crown is a captivating and poignant work.

Freely inspired by the life of the Queen of England, Elizabeth II, the series opens the doors of Buckingham Palace to immerse us in the most intimate chapters of her reign.

First played by Claire Foy and then Olivia Colman, Queen Elizabeth fascinates and intrigues, and the series has received numerous awards for the phenomenal work of its interpreters.

The fifth season of The Crown is eagerly awaited this year on Netflix and this time will introduce Imelda Staunton in the shoes of the monarch. Fans of historical saga and the British royal family should not miss this event!
