Through the story of an American family, this film tries to explain the origin of racism and extremism in the United States. It tells the story of Derek who, wanting to avenge the death of his father, shot by a black drug dealer, espoused the racist theses of a small group of far-right activists and put himself at the service of its leader, brutal theorist advocating the supremacy of the white race. These theories will lead him to commit a double murder dragging his younger brother, Danny, into the spiral of hatred.

Tony Kaye, director
Director of commercials and video clips, Tony Kaye made his first feature film with American History X, on which he was also director of photography. Tony Kaye signed the 1996 Olympics campaign and worked for many brands. But he also put his experience at the service of other causes; for “Greenpace”, in particular, and an association in favor of Romanian orphans. It also
